• 6 cups strawberries (hulled and separated)
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 3/4 cup water
• 3 tablespoons corn starch
• 1 pre-baked pie crust
• Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

1. Mash or puree two cups of strawberries
2. Combine mashed/pureed strawberries, sugar, water and corn starch in a saucepan and bring to a boil
3. Boil for 2-4 minutes, until the mixture thickens
4. Remove from stove and let cool for about 15 minutes
5. Pour over remaining strawberries and mix well
6. Spoon strawberries into pie crust and refrigerate 2 hours or more.
7. Top with whipped cream and enjoy
